Beikyoung Lee, Non-occupiable space, 2022
Non-occupiable space by Beikyoung Lee is a six-channel video work. Artificial time and space are created and infinitely expanded as white cubes elegantly move on the screens. Viewers can experience an optical illusion as if they are completely surrounded by the open sea and all alone, which arouses contradictory feelings of hopeless fear and meditative peace at the same time. The incessant movement of countless cubes like sea waves evokes a sense of expansion and inclusiveness.
