Thematic Space

Glass Cosmos, 2025, Mixed media(248 glass objects, 248 COB LEDs, dyed moss, fabricated rocks), Dimensions variable.

Hundreds of glass bulbs fill the space, resembling stars in the night sky. These bulbs were created by survivors of violence and healers who breathed into them together. When viewers blow into sensors installed around the exhibition, all the bulbs light up in sequence, creating a scene in which a single breath illuminates the entire space. The house numbers of addresses provided by participants are engraved on the glass, indicating that each bulb represents an individual person.

Breath is the most fragile yet simultaneously the strongest force that keeps us alive. Breathing into each piece to shape it, and meeting viewers' breath to illuminate the dark space, becomes a symbol of human resilience and a declaration of life. This interactive installation transforms individual wounds into collective healing energy and was created collaboratively by people from various fields, including architects, glass artists and programmers.
