Entering the semicircular space surrounded by LED displays and mirrors, red light fills the space and the sound of a heartbeat echoes from afar. The visual journey that begins in this red space reminiscent of a womb continues from natural landscapes through city lights to the vast universe.
The greetings of humanity in 55 languages, carried aboard the spacecraft Voyager in 1977, resonate throughout the space. Sounds of wind, waves and birdsong blend together to form a single symphony. Viewers see themselves infinitely replicated, yet gradually becoming smaller, in the surrounding mirrors. In this space, viewers see themselves as tiny beings connected to the vast universe.
